THE FADED FLOWERS SERIES
Do flowers have a perfect single moment?

I'm inclined to the idea of beauty as fleeting, elusive and unexplained. The flowers in these images were all wasted, used or discarded.

In creating my images I tried to adopt the aesthetics of the late nineteenth century Pictorialists. Ultimately the project took on
a life of it's own and became a metaphor
for revival at many levels.
